BRANDON LEE
I posted a three minute reading on tik tok of my communications with Brandon Lee. The Brandon Lee, you know of The Crow. I was surprised, but not completely caught off guard that he came through. Finding validation on the entire reading afterwards though, literally had me waving my hands in the air like a damn fool, saying, "you guys! I'm a psychic!" My guides are gonna quit any day now, and I don't really blame them. How much does validation do I need?
Three minutes wasn't enough time to sum up my entire afterlife interview with Brandon, so I'll continue here. Brandon insisted that he doesn't care if anyone is ever held responsible for his death. It was an accident, albeit an incredibly preventable one. He comes across as slightly irritated that the person who took his life didn't take any responsibility for it, but says again and again that he wasn't in the right mindset. That's how the accidental shooting came to be in the first place.
I'm feeling like the shooter, Michael, known as Funboy in the movie, may have been heavy into drugs or alcohol at the time. I'm seeing him playing with the gun/prop. Maybe even taking it off set one night to shoot for fun. And bringing it back before anybody noticed it. The overall feeling I'm getting is one of severe neglect to remember to remove the bullets from the gun before it was used. I feel like there was a little jealousy, but still this wasn't intentional. I'm seeing a friendship between the men, Brandon and Michael. I'm seeing Michael wrap his arms around him, and telling him, "you're going to be a really big star after this." The animosity was never expressed, but Brandon feels like came out anyway through unintentional mishandling of the prop which resulted in his death.
The only time Brandon expresses any anger is when he talks about how traumatic the event was for EVERYONE. I feel like this event was incredibly hard on those who were close to him in life, and they've suffered tremendously in the decades since his accidental murder. He says it wasn't murder, but it was so negligent that it could easily have gotten the actor serious prison time had anyone known what actually happened. Brandon's heart isn't in setting the record straight, as the actor who was responsible for his passing has since died of Cancer (I called that in my reading before I had any idea), but in making it easier on his die hard fans, by letting them know that they've already figured the mystery out. There's nothing left to figure out. There's nobody to charge in his death. This life has ended. In fact, it ended a long time ago.
A message to his die hard fans, from me, the reader: Brandon's energy is exactly what you think he would be like. He was genuine in life, and he's kind and forgiving in death. He's exalted in a way, but he's so humble hearing that doesn't really affect him. He's not the splashy kind of humble who needs you to think he's a nice person. He's genuinely a good solid soul. This world really did lose someone special, but we knew that.
I suppose if there is one message we should all carry with us from hereon after, it's that forgiveness is a beautiful gift we share with those who've lived in the darkness for far too long already.
The man who took Brandon's life suffered immensely for the rest of his life. I see him pleading for forgiveness and maybe understanding, in the darkest corners of his heart, when nobody was watching. He spoke to Brandon often in death, never admitting the full account of what occurred in the light of day, but clinging to the pain of the toll it took on his soul, every day of his life. And if that's not punishment enough, what could possibly be?
He punished himself until his body grew Cancer and he took his last breath at the age of 64. Let us be quick to forgive those who have caused us harm, bodily or otherwise, because the burden they bare will never truly be lifted from their shoulders.
